I have graduated from VŠO and now I even teach there. Much has changed over the years - the school keeps going forward, is now more focused on practice, the subjects are more technical and more narrowly focused. Even though the competition on the market is huge, VŠO getting on very well and I can recommend it easily.

I got my bachelor’s degree in VŠERS in České Budějovice and moved to VŠO in Prague for my master’s degree. And I don’t regret it – VŠO is much more similar to a public school and the quality of teacher is 100% better. For example Ms. Palatková, who taught me, is a big name in the tourist industry.

Simona Kremerová Simona Kremerová

Simona works as a Program Coordinator in the company Smaller Earth. In year 2009 she took part in a work stay in New York. She spent three and a half year in England and worked for an Australian travel agency. Work never bothered Simona and that is why, when she got the opportunity to go to America as kitchen help, she did hesitate. She gathered experience, found new friends and travelled through some parts of the United States with the money she earned. That is how job opportunities in England or Spain opened up to her.

VŠO is one of the few schools in the Czech Republic, which really focuses on practice. During the studies, we have for example: worked on projects, whose results were inspected by the National Heritage Institution. A lot of the lectures were also led by external lectors, so we were learning things as they were applied in real life.
